HYBRID MATERIALS 2009

The First International Conference on Multifunctional, Hybrid and Nanomaterials in Tours, 15-19 March 2009. conference website: http://www.hybridmaterialsconference.com
The main objective of this new interdisciplinary conference is to bring together, for the first time at a truly international level, people with shared interests in hybrid materials.
The conference will start on Sunday (15 March) at 14:00 and finish on Thursday (19 March) at 16:00. Each day will start will a Plenary Lecture followed by 3 parallel symposia focusing on the following topics: Biohybrids and biomaterials; Bottom-up approaches to functional nanomaterials and nanocomposites; Functional porous materials.

EMMI, the European Multifunctional Materials Institute, has now been officially registered as a Belgian non-profit organisation (AISBL). Its website www.emmi-materials.eu will gradually be expanded to take over the functions of this site and the FAME intranet.
